Help Mama G and her 4 cats get off the streets

I met Mama G (Georgette Westerfield) when working with The Atlanta Dream center in downtown Atlanta. They go out every Thursday evening and give out food and hope to the homeless on the streets of Atlanta. Mama G has 4 of the prettiest cats you’d ever hope to see and they are her family. They live in a baby stroller and she has them on harnesses and leashes. She has seen to it that all 4 are fixed and have their shots. She is 6 years clean and is literate, smart and only wants prayers to find a home for her and her cats. We were told 2 months ago that she was getting an apt that would be paid up for one year. We were so overjoyed and I started taking donations for her and her new home. My truck is overloaded with tons of donations given to her by my generous friends on NextDoor.  Then I found out that all section 8 rentals had been paused. She would not be getting her home and I had to be the one to tell her. The government agency was not going to tell her.  I am asking for a lot of money because this is a big effort. It’s not an easy thing to help someone in this situation, but if I have learned one thing during all of this, it is that people are generous and want to help. My goal is to help her get into an apt for 1 year. To give her time to get back on her feet. She is about 47 years old so she can work. She has no teeth and that is also a problem I would like for her to get help with.  I worked in various ER’s for more than 20 years and went to radiology school at Grady Hospital. I can spot an addict a mile away. I have been with her 4 times and she is always well spoken and single minded. Please help me help her and her beloved cats.
