Help Malak and her Family Escape the War in Gaza

I am starting this campaign for my friend's family in Gaza. A heartbreaking story of shattered dreams and immense loss. Going from being the giver taking care of those in need, to someone in need for help. Help this resilient family come out of this tragedy strong and start over. I leave you with the words from Malak, my cousin's sister telling you the story in her own word.

In the heart of Gaza, my family and I find ourselves grappling with the aftermath of a devastating genocide. We were once a family of seven, sheltered in the warmth of our home, but everything changed when our house, like countless others, was bombed, leaving us without a physical sanctuary.

I’m Malak, a second year IT student. Committed to my education, I had been working in a company to support my studies and my younger sisters. However, the demolition of the company stripped away our financial stability, casting us into uncertainty.

A photo of my youngest beautiful sister Masa who is now sick with Hepatitis from bad water and cannot get proper treatment for it in Rafah. Also my father has heart disease for which he has not been able obtain any medicine.

As violence escalated, we had to flee, navigating through waves of displaced families in search of safety. The journey was marked by peril, with the added challenge of not finding enough food and essentials during our displacement. Our source of income, my dad’s car that was vital to our livelihood, was targeted and destroyed. My mother also used to work her own business , Hand made embroidery and accessories called ( ماسة هاند ميد ) on facebook , as a source of income to our family , but all the tools and raw materials were destroyed. abruptly shattering the dreams we worked hard to fulfill for my sister.

Mais, my second sister, on the brink of completing high school or starting her university journey, had her dreams abruptly put on hold.,

Now, in the aftermath of these challenges, we strive escape the war in Gaza to Egypt and start a new life since we lost everything we had. Simultaneously, I face critical decisions about my education, contemplating whether to continue abroad or consider emigration for a promising new future.

I have initiated a GoFundMe campaign to seek financial assistance for my family's reconstruction efforts and to provide support for our escape from war and education.
