Shawky, a foreign language instructor for army students (as a contractor) and father of Joy (4) and Maeven (7) and my husband, has lost control of most of his movement, seven years after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's. and he is the only source of income for the family.
In 2013 we came to America. He chose to leave his prospering construction company which he founded after completing his master's program (MBA.), to protect us and preserve our lives.
Over the past years, my husband has become one of the most committed and most beloved educators at the school and an iconic in developing educational curricula for students in Language School.
Besides his main job, my husband was working two jobs also on the weekend, as a cashier and as an Uber driver, to provide a decent life for us until Parkinson's became too debilitating for him. He kept working until he had trouble with everyday tasks most people take for granted.
Now my husband has become needs special health care, which increased the burden on me and increased my responsibility towards the family. Now my family faces challenges due to my husband debilitating disease. Please help us continue our lives, stay the children in school, and maintain our home that is about to be lost. Help us overcome the damage Parkinson has done to our lives.
The Campaign Goal is $2.00,000 For Medical and Family needs (within the next few days). Each donation exceeds this amount will go to fund Parkinson’s Disease Research.

The campaign also targets to raise public awareness of Parkinson's disease, so we invite you to shoot a video or take a picture of yourself balancing a cup of water (or anything else)* on your head to signify the tremors that persons with Parkinson’s deal with, then post it on social media to raise people's awareness of Parkinson's. Also, send your photos and videos to post here, your interaction will be great**. Once again let’s spread love.

Parkinson's disease is an aging disease, rarely affects people under the age of fifty, and the problem is that the disease infected my husband at the age of forty.
Parkinson’s Challenge is an attempt to that brings to light the effects of Parkinson’s disease and its negative impact on the patient and his or her family to push his research forward to find a cure. So We are also waiting for your videos in all languages with the campaign title (Support Parkinson’s Challenge.)
