Help Madeline with living expenses

Shortly after Thanksgiving Doug was diagnosed with advanced Multiple Myeloma ( bone cancer) that was being masked by the Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) he has suffered with since the age of 12. Bone pain was being mistaken for an RA flare up because pain has been a constant companion of his for many years. Having to endure at least 2 surgeries every year for the past 10 years just to keep him mobile. Being the "RUFF BOY" ( one of his favorite songs) that he is he powered through the pain of the last few years to keep doing the things he loved, duck hunting, deer hunting, spending summers in Willmar with family and fishing (both summer and ice). But unfortunately between suffering from RA and now cancer his life passions are no longer doable or enjoyable so with the respect and support of his family and close friends he has chosen to live his life on his terms (anyone who knows Doug knows this already) taking one day at a time and live them to the fullest. While Doug and I would love to be able to spend all his remaining time together he is being cared for by his loving parents ,Mary and Donnie at his childhood home while I continue to have to work to pay the bills. His main concern is not for himself though, ( speaks volumes towards his character) but for me (Midge) and his constant companion dog, Gypsy Rose . What causes Doug the most angst is he knows there will come a time when I will forgo every penny in order to be with him in his final days and any donations/gifts given will give him some peace of mind that his loved ones will be taken care of in his absence.
A sincere thank you to all friends and family who find it in their hearts to help at this most difficult time.
God bless you,
Doug and Midge Emberland
