Help Maddy's Fight against Cervical Cancer

Maddy - 22 years old - Diagnosed with Cervical Cancer
Maddy was experiencing unpleasant symptoms late last year (2019) and was refused a Pap Smear due to "being too young" by two different doctors. Finally, after the third doctor took her symptoms seriously, Maddy was provided a Pap Smear.
Within a week and a half, pathology came back as Adencarcinoma. Maddy was seen by the specialist 2 days after her diagnostic and was scheduled for her first surgery only 5 days later.
On the 25th of November 2019 Maddy went in for her first surgery at Townsville, QLD. The surgery was abandoned due to the findings of an 8cm tumour in her cervix - shocked by the discovery, surgeons had to decide what to do next.
After numerous trips back-and-forth from North Queensland to Brisbane, the tumour and Maddy's Pelvic Lymph Nodes were removed.
But the fight is far from over, Maddy now requires major bouts of Radiation/Chemotherapy and Brachytherapy.
With a long and challenging road ahead, Maddy is surrounded by her family supporting her every step of the way. Including her future brother-in-law, Lachy.
Lachy has taken it upon himself to try and make this time for Maddy as comfortable as possible. With a mortgage of her own, medical bills and other expenses - Lachy wants to try and take as much of this stress off Maddy as possible.
Maddy has not been able to work for the past 6 weeks and will have the next 3 months in front of her to not only mend physically, but mentally.
Lachy is apart of our working team, and as soon as he told us about what he was trying to accomplish for his sister-in-law - we knew we wanted to help make it happen!
Lachy will be growing his hair and beard for the next few weeks, until the time is right to shave it off - in that time we are asking for your help... Any donation great or small would be extremely appreciated to help Maddy get through this challenging time.
We would also like to make it clear to young women, even if you are under the age of 25 and present symptoms - do not let your doctor dismiss your rights to a Pap Smear. A simple procedure may prevent this or catch it early enough.
A message from Maddy personally "to all young women, you know your bodies well - stay on top of your health and DO NOT take no for an answer from your GP."

UPDATE: Nathan Leeman from Reece has put his hand up to help Lachy and us raise awareness and funds for Maddy.
Nathan will be growing his hair and beard out with Lachy until the time is right for them to both shave it all off!
