Help Lyndsay fight breast cancer!

Hi everyone, many of you may have already seen Lyndsay’s most recent social media post regarding her updated battle with breast cancer (see below). Her Aunties are all teaming together to host this fundraiser to help our baby girl as she continues this hard-fought journey.
Lyndsay started this journey in January 2021 with a Stage 2B Triple Negative Breast Cancer diagnosis and has been in active treatment for a year and a half. Now, she will be traveling to several institutions in search of the best care possible for this rare type of breast cancer. These include Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, Dana Farber, Memorial Sloan Kettering and possibly others.
Many of you have reached out to ask “how can I help” and so many of you have already sent meals and housekeeping services, cared for the children, driven carpools, etc, and for that she is extremely grateful! What we want to offer Lyndsay now, through this fundraiser, is the ability to make these visits without worry. The level of involvement will require her to put her personal business on hold, her husband to take some unpaid time off and her mother to travel with her. While some treatments are covered by insurance, not all expenses and treatment options will be covered. Ideally, with enough funds, we would also like to send Lyndsay and her family on a fun retreat to make lasting memories before she starts her next round of treatments.

Post from Lyndsay: Well, I had two whole days of being “done” with cancer treatment…Then I got a call that there is a mass on my liver. Then after more imaging, there are three small nodules on my lungs. So now I will have a liver biopsy and tumor testing in the coming weeks. We are devastated but trying to take it moment by moment. #stage4needsmore #triplenegativebreastcancer #tnbc #fuckcancer #armedandready #holdingon
