Help Lukes fight against Cancer

On January 14th 2022, Luke was diagnosed with B Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system, a part of the body's germ-fighting network.

Luke is 23 and originally from Dublin, Ireland but made a move to Vancouver in 2020, which has been his home for the last year and a half. His vibrant personality has made him very popular in the community and has bonded with many of you over a pint in his natural habitat, known as Donnelanns. When he is not out having a few scoops with his friends, you may spot him running along the seawall or making an impact on Wreck Beach.

Luke is currently in St Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, receiving treatment to get him stable enough to return to his family in Dublin. When back home, Luke will immediately begin his aggressive treatment to beat his Cancer.

Lukes treatment has proved to be very costly thus far and is expected to rise considerably in the coming days. The goal of $70,000 CAD is to cover his expenses to date, and these costs will continue to grow until we can safely get him home to start his journey ahead.

Please help Luke and his family in any way that you can. It will be a long journey ahead, and we all hope that financial burden is one thing that they will not need to be worried about.

This has been a complete shock to us all, as everyone can imagine. We ask that you keep Luke in your thoughts and prayers, but at this time, if you could please withhold your messages and calls of love and concern for a few days while Luke and his family navigate through these tough initial times.
