Hi Friends & Family,
I want to be as honest and forward as possible with my community.
I am moving to New York City to continue my journey as a Behavioral therapist, to continue working on my craft as a musician, and to be with my family at home on the East Coast. During COVID, my landlord has been extremely flexible with rental payments as he knows I have not been able to work while schools are closed. At this time, my landlord is no longer able to be flexible - prompting my decision to move back home to the East Coast.
My life has come full circle in realizing that I have the power and ability to help children who grew up like me and face many of the same struggles. It’s important to me to continue in this career path.
During my time in Los Angeles I've grown immensely. I've started a company, enrolled in school, started painting, continued my music, and coached a local basketball team. This Gofundme will help me to cover the moving costs and move-in costs as I transition from LA to NY. This means the world to me and helps to ease my anxiety as I move cross country. Anything helps!
