Help Luci Walk again

Luci is a young loving kitty that found his way into our lives by chance. He was a stray that adopted us.  He is by far the most loving and affectionate cat we have ever experienced. He cuddles you, licks you, nudges you, kneads on you and is always wanting attention. 

This morning we noticed he wasn't moving around much. Usually he's begging for attention.  It was when he got up and tried to make it down the stairs that we knew there was trouble. He half fell and half slid down on his belly. His legs just not working right. 

I picked him up and put him on his legs and he walked, very stiff legged to get food. He ate and then his legs just gave out and he fell. 

I knee he needed a vet. I took him to our regular vet who treated him with fluids and antibiotics, and took Xrays. There is something on his spine that looks "off".   Luci was referred to a pet neurologist 40 miles away.  Now you know as well as I do that this means $$$$$.  We are hoping for an appointed tomorrow.

Luci was sent home today with the catheter still in his leg, which preventing him from walking at all.  (It hurts)
