Hi, I'm Carrie Leske, a friend and part of Louise Erickson's care team. On behalf of this team, a site has been organized to assist Louise with the medical expenses associated with her cancer treatment. I have known Louise for over 11 years through New Life Academy, she was the first grade teacher for all three of my children. Louise is loved and appreciated as a long term employee of the school.

Louise first battled breast cancer during 2018-2019. She went through all the recommended medical treatment. After completion of treatment, she was considered cancer-free. Then in May 2022, the same month she retired from teaching, she learned that the cancer had returned and she had exhausted all medical options in the United States. In June 2023 she made the tough decision to go to a cancer treatment center in Mexico for 3 weeks, with some follow-up visits, in addition to following a demanding treatment protocol at home. The cancer center is a tremendous expense and it would be a privilege if her community could raise enough funds to offset some of her medical bills. Louise is in a fight for her life and even if you cannot donate, please consider praying for her and her husband during this difficult time.
