Help Louie’s Bar & Beer Garden

COVID-19 has hit people in many different ways whether it’s mentally, physically or financially.  I’ve sat back and watched a dear friend and her family’s small business struggle through all of this and I don’t want to sit back helplessly any longer. My friend Angie’s dad Louie built Louie’s Bar and Beer Garden with his own two hands and the help of some friends in 1987, opening in 1988. Louie Manci Jr., owner of Louies Bar and Beer Garden has spent 60 plus years in the tavern buisness in Springfield IL, his family in the buisness for a century. Now, at age 84 Illinois State and local government officials have taken his only source of income even though he and his customers followed every CDC guideline.  Louie is also financially responsible for his wife Jean’s nursing home care each month.
