Help Lorraine du Plooy fight her Breast Cancer!

Because of your financial support, Lorraine had the successful operation needed to remove her breast!

They were able to remove 10 lymph nodes but there are 2 lymph nodes left (inoperable) that still  contain cancer. There is good news
though. Her doctor says with chemotherapy and radiation treatment, her outlook is very very good! 

Lorraine's  Doctor has found a hospital about a 2 hour trip form her home, that can take her in less than  90 days, The National District Hospital Bloemfontein. This place is outside of Free State SA where care is excellent and  the best news of all, she    will get some government financial assistance!

Treatment Breast Adjuvant AC DOXOrubication , Breast Adjuvant PACLitaxel Dose and Breast Adjuvant Tamoxifen and then radiation  treatment there after.

Here is a breakdown of the money we have raised, the money spent and the money needed the complete this mission.

You have donated $4,005 USD to GoFundMe and an anonymous WGT member gave $3,660 USD directly to Drieas's PayPal account. That is $7,665 USD donated. Close  93% of those funds were paid for the hospital bills for her operation and doctor bills.

The chemotherapy  treatment is R7000 x 4 R28000 or $1,913.54 USD. Radiation treatment R71500 or $1,980.47 USD

To get her in the time frame she needs, the only appointments are at 4pm. With a 4 hour treatment time they will need to stay in a hotel, because it is not very save to travel at night at thus time in South Africa. There will be 8 nights  in lodging  R3756 or $244.05. Gas and toll          and roads also.

I am keeping the GoFundMe goal at $7,500 even though it has been met with the WGT PayPal donation because we still need $4,138.06 one of the finest women of God's creation healed.  I am going to help as I  have lost both parents to cancer, and because I cannot think of any two people in this world more worthy.
