Help Lonny have a proper burial

We all lost the most wonderful man this past weekend.  I personally am broken inside.  I know that Lonny's children and siblings are as well.  Lonny had so many people in his life that loved him. He loved everybody, but his greatest love in life was his mother.    Sadly, Lonny passed away suddenly and unexpectedly this past weekend and had not prepared for his passing.   All of these funds will be used for the preparations that have been made, which includes the funeral home memorial service at Ahlgrim's Funeral Home in Lake Zurich Illinois on Thursday, August 30th (morning hours to be determined). As well as transportation to Lonny's final resting place and graveside burial at Mt. Zion Cemetary/White Pines Ranch in Oregon Illinois which will be immediately following the funeral home service. We all know he had an amazing love for animals, big and small.  He's leaving behind DiCi ( his 4 year old spunky colt).  He's also leaving behind his precious Birman cat Cayto and our sweet 4 year old Venus and beautiful Zeus.   Lonny was a captain in the army just shy of 20 years.  He still loved to put on his uniform because he was so proud of his service and he was so thrilled that it still fit.  Lonny had his masters and worked at Teen Challenge in Chicago helping men to kick substance abuse and to get their lives back on track.  He was the easiest person to talk to but was also the best listener. He always had a smile on his face and loved to joke around and have fun.  Lonny was very intelligent and liked to talk about politics and news that was going on around the world.  Those around him knew him as a hard worker and for his relentless love of helping people.  He would do almost anything for anyone.  If you wanted to find him in his element, he loved grilling a good thick steak alongside a baked potato.   Words cannot express my appreciation and gratitude for all donations.  Every dollar will help.    Please donate, like and share!
