Help Liza Rebuild After 3 Cancers!!!

Hi everyone, my name is Martha Davis and I\'ve created this site to help the lovely Liza Bernstein get back on her feet and beat the aftermath of cancer once and for all.

I have known Liza for over 20 years now. We met in an acting class at The Beverly Hills Playhouse years ago and have remained friends ever since.  In those early days I was always struck by Liza\'s grace and humor, her intelligence, charm and joie de vivre.  I know that recently she has felt very far away from that person and that\'s why I\'m writing to you all.

If you are not aware of what Liza has been through over the past 18 years, let me summarize briefly:  Liza has been diagnosed with and beaten breast cancer three times. 

She was incredibly lucky, all three times, to catch the cancer early but still, each time, had to undergo a very aggressive series of treatments including radiation and chemotherapy, as well as surgery, to eradicate it.  Liza needs a 6th surgery now due to complications from her last treatments.

One rarely hears the story of the Aftermath Of Cancer, but I\'m sure you can all imagine that there is a cumulative effect when you fight off the disease so many times.  

Not only does it take a huge toll physically, (there are still days that Liza is barely able to do more than get out of bed), cause catastrophic financial issues (Liza's medical bills and insurance are astronomical, her disability has run out, and she has to file for bankruptcy), but it takes a tremendous toll on your emotional state as well.  

This is what is most troubling to me because when you have fought so hard for your survival and the rug keeps getting yanked out from under you, it is difficult to get through a routine day, let alone put your entire life back together for the third time.
