Help little Tara have her heart fixed and live

Donation protected
Tara is a sweet 3-month old West Highland Terrier girl who needs a heart surgery.

She was brought home to join her new family on the 14th of April. She has been very happy settling into her new home, and bonding lovingly with her parents and friends. Tara is a tiny white ball of energy and happiness, and she means a world to me even if it's only been a month since we met. In Hindi, her name means a star, a luminary, or light of the soul, each of which she truly represents.

However, since the first days of becoming her mum, I have learnt that she had multiple health issues, and the people I got her from were not showing any interest in helping us in any way no matter how hard I tried. Apart from having several gut infections, one bacterial and one parasitic (Campylobacter and Giardia), she has a heart malformation (PDA), and a painful dental condition called Lingually Displaced Mandibular Canines. All of these conditions need to be addressed and treated urgently, as without curing her of one she cannot be treated for another etc. To this day, she has had the lab test and the medications for the gut infections, and extensive cardiological tests for her heart condition have been carried out. However, Tara still needs her canine teeth extraction to get rid of the pain in her mouth, and more importantly, an urgent heart surgery to fix the malformation without which she would die shortly.

As these conditions had been present before I got her, she is not covered for them by the insurance I bought for her. Here are the costs that I need to pay in order to see her alive and healthy:

The heart surgery: £3600
The cardiology scans : £500
The teeth extraction: £300
The medication: £50-£100
The lab tests for gut infections: £70 each (she needs several)

I know it's a vast amount of money to ask for, but if you could try and help me to at least cover the heart surgery, that would mean more than a world to me. Tara is such a brilliant, bright, and loving creature, she deserves to live a long and happy life. I will be so extremely grateful and I will send my warmest wishes daily to each and everyone of you who contribute to my cause.

THANK YOU!!!
