Help Save Little Max's Leg

7 year old, Little "Max " was taking his daily jaunt in the yard  with his Legally Blind Human when out of nowhere comes the neighbor's lab mix and attacks him.. It was a freak situation because the lab and Max had spent many fun times in the backyard together..  No one knows what provoked the attack.

Poor Max, a support companion, ended up with puncture wounds along his entire underside with bruising.  His leg was severely mauled as well.   X-rays revealed that he had fractures of all the metatarsal bones and  the start of a severe infection!!!

Max was splinted and the infection cared for temporarily, but Max needs a pin placement to salvage his rear left leg.

Max's owner, Edward, does not have the ability to pay for the surgeries. Edward is saving from his own fixed income, in order to pay for his eye surgery.  He can only afford $100/mo without dipping into the small savings. 

Time is of the essence for little Max, we must schedule the surgery  next week and need the funds at that time or the poor little soul will most likely lose his leg... Max and  his human Edward will be so grateful for even the smallest donation to make this surgery happen. 

The veternary hospital and the Board Certified Surgeon are both discounting their fees.

The owner of the attack dog is very poor as well and doesn't have the means to pay for Max's care.  It's an unfortunate situation.
