This is my aunt, a strong, determined, loving, inspiring, fun, outgoing women. She is the youngest of three very much united sisters. She’s the mother of Michele, Nicole, Natasha and Señorito Bruno.
On february 24th, she felt brave and did a spartan race with my other aunt and cousins. We were so proud of her because she has suffered from severe asthma her entire life and has never being able to workout much.
Next day, she was using the nebulizer and had a very hard time breathing and that’s when things started to get more and more complicated.
She ended up in the hospital 2 days after the race for 1 week. They gave her breathing therapies every 4 hours and did a whole bunch of exams, including 2 biopsis where the stick a huge needle through the back to her lungs. Diagnostic? The most aggressive cancer of all, Leiomyosarcoma with methatasis of 8 tumors to the lungs.
Doctor suggested a strong quimio to try to reduce the size of the tumors so they can operate, but if she does it will damage severely other organ and might get leuquimia later down the road. Scary right?
So she decided to go with the holistic approach.
20 days ago, she became vegan and the girls are supporting her too.
We all are. Because we have faith that the treatment she is receiving at the southwood medical center in Ocala will heal her and will allow her to raise Mimi, Nico, and Bruno the way she knows.
Would you help us fighting the fight against Leiomyosarcoma by donating or sharing this with others? Together we can beat it.
God bless you!
