As much as I hate asking for help, I know that I need it. So I'm letting go of my pride and asking for you to help me stand again. My goal is to get a standing wheelchair and unfortunately my insurance won't cover it.
In nine years I've only been able to stand a handful of times. But if I had this wheelchair, I could stand everyday, which is something I have prayed for since May 19, 2009 when I was paralyzed two weeks before graduating high school.
Standing, even for just a few minutes each day will improve my life more than I could possibly describe...mentally and physically.
I want to stand to wash dishes, or see over the pot as I cook. I want to improve my bone density to avoid breaking my legs, and I want to avoid pressure sores from sitting 24/7.
Like I said, it hard to ask for help, but being paralyzed is costly. So if you can spare a dime, I would appreciate it; If not, your prayers, encouragement, and support, would still go a long way in helping me live an abundant life. ❤️
