Help Lisa get back to Houston and medical care.

Hello everyone! Our mother, Lisa Davis, Suffered a “very large stroke” and subsequent ruptured aneurysm (brain bleed) which resulted in her becoming unconscious and unresponsive. Due to covid, no hospitals in Houston would take her, as they had no room or bed for her in their hospitals. Doctors at the local emergency center in Kingwood found a hospital in San Antonio, TX that had a bed for her and neurosurgeon, however, life flight decline to fly her because of the weather in SA and her brain continued to bleed. At 11 p.m. on September 6, 2021, the hospital decided she’d have to be transported by ground—which they eventually realized they could not do (not enough oxygen). 12 hours later, she arrived in SA and underwent multiple brain surgeries. After doing surgery, opening the skull to release pressure, draining blood, an many ex-rays, they saw the hemorrhage was pretty huge an the pressure that was on her brain had pushed her brain over so it wasn’t in the normal position so they said she wouldn’t wake up an they could not do anything else to fix it. She is officially in a coma. They wanted us to let her go from the beginning, but my brother, Rayshaurn Davis and family, have decided to fight for her and be her caregiver. But with this emergency comes medicine (unfortunately, no, she did not have health insurance), suction machines, transportation back to Houston, a hospital bed and materials, other machines she’ll need, food, and hired assistance to learn the ins and outs of her care until we are more suitable to do so on our own. Since being in the hospital, she has battled a small bout of pneumonia, fever, and low blood pressure—all of which requires medication (without insurance). We are asking for any help you can provide for our beloved mother. We trust and believe that in Jesus name, she will be healed, she will walk, but are not too ashamed to admit that, until that happens, we will need a little help.
