Help Link fight full body infection/pneumonia

Link is our 10 month old golden retriever, on Tuesday he woke up with a cough and our initial vet visit concluded with a kennel cough diagnosis. Less than 24 hours later link started being very lethargic and refusing food and water. We took him to our emergency vet where they did X-rays and concluded that he had aspiration pneumonia, he has been hospitalized since last night receiving fluids and antibiotics. Today we got an update that the pneumonia has spread to a full body infection, sepsis. He is currently fighting with 2 oxygen tubes and undergoing a plan of care designed by a team of critical veterinary experts. The next 24 hours are critical for his recovery, and we do face an option if things turn for the worst potentially moving him to a different a veterinary hospital that has a full ventilation system as a bit of a last resort. We are not sure what we are in for with bills, I think at this point it is safe to say we are likely looking at at least $5,000.
