Help Lil Grey Win Against Shooter!!

Little Grey is our beloved 2 year old kitty. She is a super curious, playful, bundle of adorable! She is my 11 year old brother’s cat. He has raised her since she was only weeks old and as a result has formed an incredible bond with her. They do everything together and are the cutest pair! On Thursday, The 12th of January, around 2pm (before kids get out of school) a disturbed person in the surrounding houses shot her with a high powered pellet gun. She began to drag herself home and was found by our kind neighbors. They took her to the vet, then went around knocking on doors to find the owner. They found my mom and she rushed to the vet. After waiting about an hour for the vet to take x rays, she was given the news. The bullet went into Little Grey’s side and embedded in her spine, resulting in paralyzation.
This caused our energetic kitten to lose the ability to use her back legs, tail, and bladder. Despite this adversity, her zeal for life remains and she has been spending her time cuddling with us and attempting to move around. Our entire family is devastated that this happened and that someone would do such a thing to a cat! We can’t bear the idea of losing her and we want to do everything in our power to help her! We also want to send a message to this depraved individual that he will not achieve his goal of ridding the neighborhood of cats (and that seems to be his goal as 3 other cats have gone missing recently!!!).
She also has broken up bits of pellets in her body that need to be removed ASAP!!! We need to do a CAT scan for further assessment and then surgery as well as further care. Without help, we are unable to take the steps needed to give her the life she deserves! We also want to put up a reward for anything that leads to the catching of the cruel individual who is doing these cruel things! They need to be charged with animal cruelty and put in jail so no more animals will be harmed, or worse, killed!!!
