Help Life of Riley Resort rebuild after fire

Hi, my name is Freesia Alderete and I am a former staff member at Life of Riley Resort. Early morning July 11, 2021, guests and staff awoke to a fire that devastated the resort. The fire appears to have started in the gazebo and quickly spread to other buildings. It resulting in the loss of the gazebo, store, game room, bait house, and public bathrooms. Not only did the building burn, but so did the merchandise inside as well as personal property, some of which is irreplaceable. Unfortunately insurance will only cover so much and the cost to rebuild is more than what is anticipated to be covered. The resort has been home to many guests and staff members as well as the Gillson family who owns and operates it and needs our help. Any social media shares or monetary donations are appreciated.

The Gillson family remains hopeful and wants the community to know that although they are sifting though ashes, they will rebuild and continue to provide the services and amenities that everyone has come to know and love.
