Help Levi live a long life

This is Levi. He is roughly 6 years old Husky mix rescue from NC. He is currently being fostered by my daughter, Nickie and her boyfriend, Jason in SC. Levi is in the late stages of heart worm failure. He will require a series of x rays, bloodwork, and three injections over the span of two months to kill the worms that are making him sick. Without this treatment he will live a very short life. The medical cost is over $1,000 and is a “no brainer” for Nickie and Jason as they would never choose not to help this beautiful boy get a second chance. I am setting a dollar goal of $500 in hopes to help them offset the rising costs to care for Levi. Levi’s past is unknown, he was removed from a high kill shelter and has clearly spent a lot of time in kennels. I was lucky enough to meet Levi the day he arrived in SC and watched in just a few days as he began to wag his tail, then greet Nickie and Jason and best of all learned how to play with toys! He is a bit under weight at 74 pounds but gaining weight every day. Levi is a smart, sweet boy who deserves a chance to live a happy and healthy life, any help is greatly appreciated!
