Help My Mother Rebuild After Forced Self-Deportation

With a heavy heart and overcomed with emotions I want to share with you all the devastating news that my momma Leonor DeLeon is being forced to self-deport. For anybody that knows her they know she is a respectable Christian woman and not a criminal. She’s has the biggest heart and always puts others before her. She is my rock and I am heartbroken that this is the only option we have to protect her from this inhumane and cruel administration and their unfair immigration policies .This was the hardest decision we have had to make as a family and we are devastated. This was such a sudden and forced decision that we made to avoid her from being detained at her upcoming court appearance in 2 1/2 weeks from now. With a humble heart we are raising funds to help her re-establish in San Luis Potosí, where she will arrive with her sisters. As expected living here without a status and our petition for her green card denied means no hope for her SSI which she was so looking forward too, especially after working and paying taxes for the last 35 years. Ayudar a mi madre a reconstruirse después de la autodeportación forzada

Con un nudo en la garganta y mi corazon pesado quiero compartir la devastadora noticia de que mi madre Leonor DeLeon está siendo obligada a autodeportarse. Cualquiera que la conozca, sabe que es una mujer cristiana respetable y no una criminal. Ella tiene el corazón más grande del mundo y siempre pone a los demás antes que a ella. Ella es mi roca y me rompe el corazón que esta sea la única opción que tenemos para protegerla de esta administración inhumana y cruel y sus políticas de inmigración injustas. Esta fue la decisión más difícil que hemos tenido que tomar como familia y estamos devastados. Esta fue una decisión tan repentina y forzada que tomamos para evitar que la detuvieran en su próxima corte de immigracion en poquito menos de 3 semanas. Con un corazón humilde estamos recaudando fondos para ayudarla a restablecerse en San Luis Potosí, donde llegará con sus hermanas. Como era de esperar, vivir aquí sin estatus y nuestra petición de su recidencia negada, esto significa que no hay esperanza para que cobrar su retiro que tanto esperaba, especialmente después de trabajar y pagar impuestos durante los últimos 35 años.
