Help Lennie with a new home!

Lennie Hurley is a 67 year old resident of Easton, KS. Lennie has been blind since he was a child.
On Sunday, November 8th, Lennie was at home making himself dinner, as he has done many times before. On this evening, there was a fire in his kitchen. Fortunately, he was able to call 911 and get out of his home with only minor burns.
Unfortunately, due to the age of his home, damage from the fire coupled with smoke and water damage, Lennie is no longer able to live in his home.
Unlike most of us, moving to a new location is not an easy task for Lennie. He has lived in the small town of Easton, Kansas his entire life. He knows his way around. If he needs to go to the post office, he counts his steps. He can find his way. The residents of Easton know him. They assist him when needed and he is able to live.... until now.
Although Lennie did own his home, it is now damaged beyond repair. He had a simple homeowners policy which will not provide enough funds for him to rebuild and needs our help.
The $10,000 in additional funds we are requesting, along with the $20,000 from his insurance would allow the citizens of Easton to demolish his burned home and build in a small home for him to live.
Lennie does not need much. A simple house with a bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen and kitchen area safe enough for him to live.
The key to this is building him a small home on the same location he currently resides. Lennie can tell you exactly how many steps it takes him to get to all of the places in Easton he needs to go.
