Help Leighton wake up & raise bike hat awareness

UPDATE - Leighton is now awake but still has serious injuries..
On Sunday 24th March Leighton’s life was immediately impacted severely. A group of mates just playing on their bikes as 12/13 year olds do, talking, laughing and BOOM......
Leighton fell off his bike and hit his head on the kerb causing a 2 inch laceration to his head and now I’m praying at his bed side in Sheffield children hospital for him to wake up from an induced coma.
I would like to raise the awareness of the need for all bikers to wear a hat, this could of been a different story if Leighton had of been wearing one.
This page has been set up to assist the family to ensure that their presence is available at the hospital on a daily basis to hopefully allow for Leightons brain to engage and wake up. This could take months.
Please help this family who are torn apart to be able to see him daily and raise awareness for the need to wear a correctly fitted bike helmet.
