Help Lee Cumbie Fight Leukemia

Donation protected
In November of 2019, Lee Cumbie Jr. was diagnosed with Leukemia. After several rounds of chemo treatments and a hard fight at Duke University Hospital, he went into remission. However, not long after, he found out the cancer had returned, and this time with some additional complications. He is now in need of a bone marrow transplant that will be scheduled for the next few weeks. Currently, Lee is in the hospital trying to overcome an infection so that he can move forward with the procedure.

During the critical time of healing after the procedure, he needs to stay within 15 minutes of Duke University Hospital, and have around the clock care for at least 60 days after he is discharged. The doctors have told him that he and his family need to plan on 100 days away from their home.

100 days away from home will be a significant financial strain on the family -- they will need to find a rental property near the hospital, a care team to be with him around the clock, & medical expenses, not to mention missed income.

Together, we can support this family to lift the financial burden they are facing so they can focus on what matters...fighting this and healing.

Please consider a gift to support the Cumbie family today.
