Help lay to rest Griselda Torreros

May 5th was the day that my mother was admitted to Memorial hospital. My siblings and i were by her side day in and day out

she fought hard we nearly lost her twice there to something attacking her lungs .. no idea what it was and  the doctors were baffled, she was weak and with a heart valve needing repair as well ... getting a biopsy could have proven fatal.. still she was strong she was brave and she always tried to lighten the mood she was showing signs of improvement almost seemed like a rollercoaster May 20th she was flown to Dominican Hospital. We were given hope, a light at the end of the tunel .. only to see it fade away as her conditions worsened could no longer see her smile as she was sedated on life support they tried everything, finally a biopsy to find out the culprit was needed the risk was taken , but at that point every medicine possible was already tried the results would not change her outcome .. she passed away on May 29th to something called Pulmonary Fibrosis , something that to this date has no cure .. no fix .. she was rapidly losing to an enemy ive never imagined .. her own body attacked her lungs .. my siblings and i stayed by her side holding her hands and crying as her heart beat came to a stop..

I love my mother with my whole being, as my family does and this loss will impact the rest of our lifes. she was an amazing woman loveable friendly always talking to strangers making new friends . she was a beautiful light in this world and we lost her at her young age of 58..



These funds will be used for funeral and memorial services to help in sending my mother off. if anyone wishes to help in any way we , her family , her children thank you from the bottom of our hearts..
