Please Help Lay Jerome to Rest

Jerome Crystian was 27 years old with his entire life ahead of him. He loved music and being with family. Whenever they needed him, he was there, especially for his nephews. He was shy outside of his family, but you couldn’t help but like him and love him when you got to know him. He loved food and making crazy food combinations. He loved helping his family and doing just about anything for his mother, Tanecia, whether it was just putting gas in her car, cooking for her or just making sure she was ok. Family was everything to him and he was everything to his family.

His mother has worked for a local law enforcement agency in Kern County for 21 years. Her coworkers would say she’s crazy (in a good way) because she always has the most funniest stories. She is always making everyone laugh, but what stands out is how much she loves her kids and how much she is willing to do for them. She would do just about anything. She is so proud of them, and she would let it be known to everyone and anyone who would listen. Her kids are her world, and part of it is crashing right now.

On Tuesday, March 8th, 2022, Jerome was found 200 feet down a well just 18 inches wide. There is suspicion of foul play, but we don’t know anything as of now. Imagine having to hear about how your son was found. Imagine having to read about it online of how they had to remove your son’s body with a crane. This isn’t news any mother should have to go through, listen to, or read about. Who hurt her son? Her baby? She has many unanswered questions, and all the family wants is justice and closure. Tanecia and her family need assistance in laying her son Jerome to rest.

I've worked with her for ten years and it breaks my heart to see this strong, resilient woman go through this. There are no words to console this type of grief. All proceedings will go to her and her family to help lay Jerome to rest. Anything will help and is very much appreciated.
