Help Lavanya with her medical expenses

I am Sowmya from Alabama, sister of Lavanya, writing this to seek funds to help cover Lavanya's medical bills. All the funds received will be used for Lavanya's medical bills and ongoing treatments.

Lavanya is currently pursuing her Master's at Cleveland State University, Ohio. About two months ago, when Lavanya and her friends went shopping, they did not know that their life would change forever. With God's grace, she survived a horrible accident on an extremely snowy day. However, God had not been kind to her friend as he passed away right at the accident spot. Lavanya survived but had a heavy impact, including brain injury, multiple facial and skull fractures, lung bruising, and a hip fracture in the accident. She woke up after two days in the ICU, not knowing what had happened.

 

It has been a very emotional experience that we weren't prepared for. Two months after the accident that occurred on the evening after Thanksgiving (27 Nov 2021), she is still in the process of recovering from the tragedy with help of family, friends, and therapy. She is physically getting better with continuous physical therapy, but it would take a while for her to get out of the emotional pain. We received the medical bill, and after insurance coverage, we have to pay around $95,000 with ongoing treatments and therapies that still need to be added. As a student, she will not be able to pay such a hefty amount. We are writing this to request financial help that would help cover her medical bills and her ongoing treatment. No amount is too small.
