Help Lauren Battle Hodgkin's Lymphoma

In the beginning of October Lauren was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Over the last two months Lauren has been to multiple doctors appointments, had multiple tests run, completed IVF treatments to freeze her eggs, and started her first chemo treatment the week before Thanksgiving.
Being diagnosed with cancer at any time in life will rock you to the core of your being. There are many decisions that have to be made in a timely manner because every second counts. One of the initial concerns we had was insurance. Lauren works at Radio City Music Hall in New York City as a food and merchandise supervisor. Unfortunately due to the corona virus pandemic she has been unable to work and it is uncertain when Radio City will be able to open their doors again. Her employer has extended insurance benefits to their employees until the end of December 2020. After that employees may maintain benefits if they pay monthly for insurance
The true purpose of this Go Fund Me is to help Lauren move forward with her treatment without having to worry about the financial burden of medical expenses. For Lauren to continue treatment she needs to be able to cover the insurance deductible for this year and the next year which will cost around 5,000. She will also need to cover the monthly cost of insurance for 2021 which will cost about the same.
Lauren is one of the strongest people I know. She has had to walk through some of the hardest things in life and you would never know it. She makes everyone around her smile, she puts others before herself, and she is the most loyal hardworking person I've ever known. She is also the best "ti-ti" to my daughter, Sophia ADORES her. I know she feels very uncomfortable that I am even putting this out there, but she does need the help. No donation is too small.
