Help Laura Go to the Brevard Summer Institute

Hello! My name is Laura Looper and I am an operatic soprano. 

I am one one of 16 students to be selected to attend the first session of the prestigious Brevard Music Center Summer Institute for High School Voice this summer from June 20-July 12 in Brevard, NC.

This Summer Institute features private voice lessons, masterclasses led by internationally-renowned opera singers, staged opera scenes, and many performance opportunities. This will help me improve my quality of voice, hone my performance skills, and become an all-around more seasoned performer, preparing me for college auditions .

My greatest joy is using the gift God has given me and sharing it with the world, so that they too can witness the beauty of music and be filled with joy. Here is a link to my YouTube channel , which features songs I have recently sung.

I am beyond excited for this opportunity, but financial barriers have it made it a challenge for me to be able to afford this camp.  I am asking for those who may be interested to consider helping me raise the funds to be a part of this wonderful Summer Institute.  These funds will cover the costs of the Summer Institute as well as all gofundme campaign fees.  I am required to pay the full registration by May 17, 2019.


Your gift will not only benefit me with the opportunity of having three weeks of artistic challenge and growth; it will also give me the opportunity to bless others in the future with what I learn.  

Brevard will prepare me for the professional world of music, and will give me the training I need to be the best musician I can be.
