Help Lane Get Safe Housing

Hey y’all!

If you don’t know me my name is Lane Bestold! I am a queer transguy who resides in Seattle, WA! I am an essential employee and I am in great financial need. The last couple of months have hit me hard financially, mentally, and physically.

On November 12th I was laid off from my job. On November 14th I found out I had covid 19. I was lucky to not be hospitalized but I was confined to my bed for weeks. I month passed before I was able to stand for an extended period of time and walk a full mile. I am still gaining my strength back even though it’s been almost two months since I was introduced to the virus.   On top of all of this my unemployment claim has been denied for 8 weeks in a row. To be honest there is no reason for it to be denied. I am trying to fight it but with the massive amount of folks unemployed it’s just a very unfortunate waiting game.

All in all I have burned through all of my savings and stacked my credit card just trying to survive. I have even borrowed money from my chosen family that I have no idea when I will be able to pay back.

I do not have contact with most of my family. The only person I have to fall back on financially is myself. I have been on my own and making my own way for damn near a decade. Normally, I wouldn’t even consider asking for money but the truth is I am desperate. I am in a very unsafe living situation. I need the money to get out of my apartment and into a new one. My neighbor yells death threats, homophobic slurs, and complete nonsense at me daily. I have caught him staring into my apartment. It has escalated to him knocking on my windows. He lives below me and for hours on end I hear him yell and hit things. For someone who had C-PTSD I feel as if I am going to die and I feel stuck back in my childhood every single time it happens. I can’t do this anymore. But in order to get the fuck out of here I need your help.

The money is going to go towards me paying rent at my next spot, the deposit, getting out of my terrible financial situation and having a piece of mind that I am going to make it through this.
