Help Kym rebuild her family cafe
Donation protected
Hi there, my name is Adam and I'm fundraising on behalf of a local family run cafe Entice-me. The recent extreme weather event in Brisbane has completely flooded inside the building. Flooring, furniture, fittings and specialised hospitality equipment — including our catering delivery vehicle — has either been totally destroyed or significantly damaged. Unfortunately, being a low-lying area insurance won’t cover it.
How Entice-Me can rebuild is something that will come to light soon but we do know it will need a lot of help from the community. The team will need to repair inside, buy new furniture, catering fridges and equipment and re-stock the kitchen before trade can start again.
Kym opened Entice-Me 18 years ago and has been at its current Newstead location for over 11 years. Blood, sweat, and tears have turned Entice-Me into a thriving business loved by many locals and the wider Brisbane community.
Like a lot of businesses, Entice-Me has had to endure the effects of the 2011 and 2013 floods, COVID lockdowns and most recently the Omicron wave. This latest setback for Entice-Me is simply devastating given the recovery from Omicron had barely even begun. Throughout all this, Kym has remained committed to her staff and kept as many people employed — often at her own expense.
Please help a local small business get back on their feet. Thanks for your support.
