Help Kurtis & Charlie get to the World Cup

G'day all,

Both myself and Charlie have recently been honoured with the selection to represent Australia and officiate at the 2024 Touch Football World Cup in Nottingham, England in July.

For the both of us, touch footy has always been a big part of our lives. Both growing up in small country Queensland towns, travelling long distances to blow a whistle and have the experience of higher quality level games has always been difficult but essential to stay up to date with the game. We've always supported our small grassroots clubs and have hopefully had an impact on many other junior players and referees in doing so.

As Touch football is still a widely developing professional sport, referees do not receive any funding to attend the World Cup. All referees are still required to pay all costs associated with uniforms, travel and accommodation. So as you can imagine it's going to be on the expensive side.

We are attempting to ease the financial burden on us both to attend the World Cup as young and super keen referees. So if you help out in anyway both Charlie and I would be extremely appreciative of helping us achieve this great milestone and flying the Aussie flag in doing so.
