Help Kristo Smile Again
13,800.
My name is Kristo Valle. Some of you might remember me as a bartender from The Stud, where I worked for 20 years. Currently I work at a job that has a lot of interaction with the San Francisco community; Falletti Foods where I work in produce and as a store manager/bulk buyer.
It is difficult asking for help, but I have come to a point of desperation both physically and emotionally.
My 2 front teeth (a bridge) and the adjacent upper incisor tooth have become so loose that they are on the verge of falling out. I also have an upper left molar missing, and the gums in this area have become infected. Because of this I am unable to eat solid foods. *I'm sorry everyone, I know it's gross.
Despite having a job with dental benefits, the insurance only covers teeth cleaning; so I cannot afford the dental work needed to chew normally.
I know that the quality of my life will be gravely affected when my front teeth fall out, and I am fearful for my health.
My dental problems began in the mid-1990s when I was in a bicycle accident that took out my two front teeth. A bridge was installed at this time. The bridge is over 20 years old now, and the incisor tooth holding the bridge has cracked, so the bridge has nothing solid to adhere to.
I have applied for bank loans but was told my income did not qualify.
I have attached the estimate given to me by Dr. William Kwong on January 16, 2018. Dr. Kwong is a dentist with an excellent reputation who I have seen before, and his estimate matches that of UCSF Dental School and other dentists.
If anyone has questions, feel free to send me a Facebook message.
Thanks to everyone. Any donations big or small will be gratefully appreciated.
