On December 21st Peter Krebs took a life flight to St. Vincent's Hospital in Billings, Montana. For months he'd been struggling with swelling of his neck, hands, and arms. He'd been experiencing some blood clotting issues, chronic pain, and other symptoms that were difficult to diagnose. Upon arrival at the hospital, the team of doctors and nurses thought that they were dealing with more blood clots in the heart and lungs. Instead, they discovered an eggplant sized tumor blocking blood flow and pathways in his heart. He had open heart surgery on New Year's Eve and is now recovering at St. Vincent's, with his incredible wife by his side.
A biopsy of the tumor revealed an incredibly rare form of cancer.....Malignant Cardiac Sarcoma is what it's called. Currently, many questions are unanswered, we will update this site as we know more. What we DO know is that Krebs is an absolute bad ass. He is a legend and he is going to fight like hell with a huge army of family and friends in his corner.
Because of the pain he's been in, and the uncertainty of his condition up until recently, Pete has been unable to work. Bills are piling up and our modest friend, who hates attention, is allowing us to reach out and notify all of you of this diagnosis. Any help is greatly appreciated so that our boy can focus on the long and important work ahead of him. Thanks to all of you for your kindness, friendship, and support.
