On the 24th of November, early morning my cat - Kindle was run over by a hit and run driver on Salter Road. The person who hit my cat, didn’t attempt to get him any help and in fact left him in pain.

 

Due to this accident he has been left with no sensation in his back legs and his pelvis is fractured, which is currently left us in £2,000 worth of debt already at the MediVet.

 

In order to heal and get better, Kindle would need fracture repair surgery which our current vets are saying will cost us over £10,000, which my family cannot afford. We have reached out to the RSPCA, Blue Cross, PDSA and various other animal charities who have REJECTED us and said they cannot offer us help due to the fact that we are not on universal credit and do not fit their criteria.

 

We have been in touch with Ceila Hammond, who are offering to do the surgery at a lower cost and are asking you all to please donate so we can get my cat home and help. If we cannot pay for his surgery, they will put down an otherwise known healthy cat.

 

No one should have to lose their beloved pet, because they cannot simply afford their surgery.
