Help Kim diagnosed with Acute Leukaemia
Kim has been diagnosed with Acute myeloid Leukaemia.
This year, January 2020 Kim began having issues with what she was advised was kidney failure. She was in a lot pain and was waiting surgery and as result couldn’t work (she is self employed).
In July this year she went for surgery that was unsuccessful due to finding other issues that later, after tests, turned out as a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. She also has a tumour on her spine reducing mobility making things hard.
Kim is a mom of 4 children, and has been in hospital for 5 weeks so far receiving intense chemotherapy (FLAG) and still has a minimum of 3 months left in hospital as she will require a bone marrow transplant. This will be a long journey and finances are difficult for those unexpectedly put in these situations.
The funds raised through this platform would help her and the family over the next few months whilst other things are put in place. I know it’s difficult for everyone but right now raising £100 will help.
Thank you.
