Help kids in Guatemala own a pair of shoes

Guatemala is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Central America, because of its beautiful scenery and hard-working people. However, it is sad that more than half of Guatemala's population lives below the poverty line, to be specific 59.3% of its population. Due to this poverty, many Guatemalan children have never even owned a pair of shoes in their life, or only own one pair that is all torn and holding on until their last breath. I know it may be hard to help them out, but this is your opportunity to help. This summer my family and I will be traveling to Guatemala because it is my home country. I have seen the poverty and heard about it from family members. Hearing about the effect poverty has on children touched me, and this is why I come to you guys and ask for help. As I mentioned I will be traveling over the summer and I am trying to raise as much as I can before June 28th, so that I have the opportunity to help these kids out. I am only a 17-year-old high school student that does not have an income so it would mean a lot if you guys found it in your heart to help these kids out, just sharing this gofundme would help out a lot.
