Hello,
My name is Khyley and I'm currently a junior in the Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University of California. It has always been my dream to become a professional dancer and I have been blessed with many opportunities along the way to grow as an artist. My time here in the BFA Program has been a major part of that growth. These three years have and continue to prepare me for the professional world and provide a platform to cultivate my craft. I'm now presented with the opportunity to travel to Amsterdam for two weeks in July and attend the summer program at the Henny Jurriëns Studio. Attending this program will not only give me the chance to continue growing as a dancer, but also to network with international artists, choreographers and teachers. It is also a chance to experience the beautiful city of Amsterdam. Pursuing a dance career in Europe after graduation is something I have been considering, and this program could be the first step to making that happen. With all that said, I need some help to get there. The program, housing and international airfare amount to about $2,000. I appreciate any donation contributed or help sharing my story.
