Help Kevin With Unexpected Medical Emergency

On March 17, 2024, I was having a wonderful time celebrating my goddaughter’s birthday jumping on trampolines and spending time with some of my best friends. Afterward, we all went out to dinner at a nearby restaurant.
As soon as I sat down at the table, every single noise, sound, and voice in the restaurant around me suddenly became excruciatingly overwhelmingly loud and it was causing my body to start twitching and jerking in response. In a panic, I turned my hearing-aids off to try and stop it.
Next thing I know is that I’m waking up inside of an ambulance because I had suffered a grand mal seizure (also known as a tonic-clonic seizure). I was incredibly lucky to be surrounded by my chosen family where everyone played a role in making sure I was safe and didn’t hurt myself any further. I’ll spare you the details of what they all described happened as it’s still personally terrifying to me to recount it all. Right now, my body feels like it was hit by a train as every inch of it is incredibly sore and it hurts to move.
Now, here’s the part I hate. I am asking for your help. I was laid off in January and am still on the job search. With no job, plus now I’m on COBRA (which is wildly expensive) so I can continue to get follow-up care and see a specialist, rent to continue living in my home, and general life expenses, I am in very much need of help.
Any little bit you donate will go a long way and will help in every way possible. It’ll be incredibly appreciated and really help me deal with this unexpected medical emergency and now all of these mounting medical and living expenses. Plus, massively alleviate all the stress and worries about it! It really means a lot to me you took the time to read this.
