Kevin is in the fight of his life.

A devoted husband of over 30 years to Brenda, and loving father to their two daughters—Tara and Tierney, who has special needs—Kevin has always been the heart and humor of his family. But now, he’s in the ICU in critical condition, hooked up to machines that are doing the work his organs can no longer do alone.

He's begun dialysis, possibly for life. His kidneys are severely damaged. His liver is struggling. There are growing concerns about neurological damage. And yet… somehow, Kevin remains Kevin.

Before he was intubated and placed in a medically induced coma, even in his fragile, confused state, Kevin was making jokes with his ICU nurse. That’s just who he is—always finding light, even in the darkest corners.

Brenda, his wife, shared this with us:

> “It’s amazing to me that he is hooked up right now to a machine that cleans his blood… he’s awake but struggling to speak clearly. His kidneys aren’t functioning and there’s something different in his face… I don’t know how to explain it. But I do know how sick he was. I’m grateful he’s still here.”

This proud and private family—who are always first to give, last to ask—is facing devastating costs with very limited resources. Between hospital stays, ongoing treatments, and the need for long-term care and support for both Kevin and Tierney, the emotional and financial weight is overwhelming.
