Help Kelly Kick Cancer’s Ass!

Hello everyone. My name is Adriana Medina Garcia. We have created this GoFund me for my mother. She has just been diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer, which we believe may have metastasized from her breast cancer that she was diagnosed with in 2020. The breast cancer was diagnosed as a slow growing form of cancer, so due to COVID she was unable to have the growth removed until May 2021. We thought she was in the clear. 

We discovered she had bone cancer when she was seen by her doctor for severe back pain, which seemed to be extreme sciatica pain down both legs. Come to find out, it was actually bone cancer in her spine that caused a fracture. Her spine is now hitting her nerve and there is no spinal fluid surrounding the nerve or bone. The bone cancer has caused her bones to become very brittle and she is at risk of paralysis. She is not able to stand or sit without being in extreme pain. This week she will be having surgery to fix the fracture. At this point we do not know if the cancer is only on her spine or not. We will post updates as they come in. 

She is a strong advocate for naturopathic medicine and plans to attack the cancer with a combination of western and eastern medicine. But of course this means with either course of action that it is a huge financial burden. One of her treatments alone will cost $30,000. We are hoping to raise at least that.
