Help Kela afford her Surgery

Dear friends, allies and fellow community members,

My name is Kela McLaughlin and I am a transgender woman living with spinal muscular atrophy. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and a person with disabilities, my journey towards gender affirmation has been particularly challenging.

Unfortunately, I am not able to work due to my physical limitations, which has made it difficult to save the funds necessary to undergo gender reassignment surgery. This surgery is not only a crucial step in my journey towards self-acceptance and fulfillment, but it will also greatly improve my mental health.

I am reaching out to you all today to ask for your support in raising the necessary funds for my gender reassignment surgery. The total cost of the surgery and related expenses is £30,000, which is an amount I simply cannot afford on my own.
