Help Keira Walk Again

Keira has been our cuddly cat for 12 years. A week ago she was accidentally hit by a young man on a dirt bike. We spent over $3000 on her first hospitalization, including treatment of lung contusions, liver failure, and dislocated hip. The veterinarians stabilized Keira, but sadly her dislocated hip could not be put back into place (it kept popping back out of position).  We brought her home healthy, but unable to walk.

Keira needs an additional $2000 for femoral head ostectomy (FHO surgery) to properly put her hip back in place and allow her to walk again. We can schedule her for surgery as soon as we have the means to pay.

We love Keira. We don't have children, but she is our baby. We've been sleeping on the floor with her at night because we don't want her jumping on or off the bed. She means the world to us and we'd like to see walking and running again.
