A hardworking immigrant family on Long Island is facing an incredibly difficult moment, and we are coming together as a community to support them.
William Mondragon — a construction worker, devoted father, and the family’s primary provider — was detained by ICE agents in Mineola while attending what he believed would be a routine appointment.
William and his wife are raising four young children, ages 1 to 9, who are devastated by the sudden separation from their father. The family is now struggling to cover basic daily necessities while also facing mounting legal expenses as they fight to keep William home with his loved ones.
We are asking our community to come together in solidarity and help this family through this painful and uncertain time. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a difference. And if you are unable to donate, please help by sharing this message widely.
Together, we can remind this family that they are not alone.
