Help Keep The Brass Monkey In Ottawa Open

The Brass Monkey has become one of Ottawa's Best Venues for live music, billiards and pinball over the past 10 years.   With the current government impositions on gatherings due to the COVID19 Crisis, we will soon find ourselves in in dire times and risk making the decision to close. We have invested most of our own personal finances since changing ownership in 2015 in order to give our patrons the best experience imaginable. Along with some of our local promoters, the Brass Monkey has brought in countless local and international touring acts, interactive live shows and has become a staple go to for many area residents. This could be several months from now as the forecasted projections are now targeting July or later. With this said, our dead net operating costs are high even when we are not in use. Coming off of a slow post-Christmas season into this crisis has depleted most of our finances. Government support will not be enough to assist in the long term. At this time we are seeking assistance from our friends and patrons in order to weather this storm out and be able to reopen as soon as conditions are lifted and bring you some incredible entertainment.
