Help keep mabels dream Alive
Donation protected
I have set this go fund me up for the waterfowl animal sanctuary and children's farm wigginton Heath Banbury Oxfordshire OX15 4LQ
Since opening in March 1989 many animals have lived happily at the Sanctuary including; Geese, Ducks, Bantams, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Goats, Pigs, Tropical birds, Emus, Terrapins, Ostrich, Chipmunks, Donkeys to name but a few.
Mabel and her Family have spent much of their own time caring for sick, injured and neglected animals and they continue to devote their lives to the care and love of animals at the Sanctuary. She has overcome many obstacles to ensure the Sanctuary will continue: surviving drought, shortage of animal food, unlawful landfill tipping near the site, and animal theft.
I have Been to this little gem over many years since being small and still attend taking my niece and nephew and they love the place and I still do even though I am now 28 I would love this place to still be around so that one day I can take my own children along and enjoy the moments spent there
As a family run small farm by Mable 88yrs and her son Rodney over 30 years
Mable is very passionate about her animals and has taking in many unwanted waterfowl and poultry from members of public who have rescued them from ducklings or chicks or just unwanted cockerels and has took them on board they are not a charity they simply do it out of love
she wanted to spread her love to animals to
others so had got a licence to open her doors to welcome everyone to experience the joy she gets from small furrys to to webbed feet too hooves
over the years it's started to
get a little tiered and needs some TLC repairs sadly as it's the two of them they need our help. I received A phone call over this Christmas period that she has had to close the doors for a while until she gets a renewal
your money will go towards helping them
fixing up there animal pens due to needing work outside as well as in
timber for repairs on doors
and ground work maintenance
And of course feeds for animals while this is in proces
while this is in progress the animals still need there feed
I have thought of many ways I can help as well as offering my support and helping with D.I.Y
Your kindness and love would be much appreciated to help small family run places stay alive
