Help Keep Evelyn in Grad School

Hello! I'm Evelyn, an agender trans femme working on a Ph.D. and working as a teaching assistant. I have wonderful partners and enjoy my work but I will lose my academic position and my insurance for HRT drugs if I can't pay $2,877.36 CAD in school fees while paying down my credit card debt of $3,114.56 CAD.

Because of burnout and PTSD from radical political organizing, is going to lose my dream of getting my Ph.D. in history. My poor mental health kept me from finishing my term project for my master's degree, and I am paying double tuition for both a Ph.D. and a part-time MA. I get my insurance for HRT drugs and my mental health meds and counseling through this academic position.


I also accumulated over $3000 of credit card debt paying for food and medicine over the summer, as well as paying for transportation to see my partner of several years who lives in Montréal. I feel hopeless because my university won't help me much and I need to keep my insurance in order to pay for HRT and antidepressants. It would mean the world to me if you could donate even a little.
